The loss of one child's innocence to cancer is dreadful.
The loss of one child's life to cancer is too many.

Sam's Day 2008 Recap

As we look back over the past year, our thoughts turn to the many wonderful people who have supported Sam’s Day and our ongoing efforts to raise money to further neuroblastoma research.

Since 2005, Sam’s Day has raised approximately $135,000 for neuroblastoma research. This year alone, Sam’s Day 2008 raised $44,000.  Recently, “Sam’s Day” was added to the Donor Wall at the Hospital for Sick Children. This was a proud moment that represents a wonderful legacy for Sam.

Thanks to your support and generous contributions, meaningful advances are being made in the fight against neuroblastoma.  The neuroblastoma cancer stem cell drug discovery project funded by Sam’s Day since 2006 was recognized this year as the best neuroblastoma research in the world.

Please read the attached memo from The James Fund for Neuroblastoma Research at SickKids which outlines all that has been accomplished in 2008.

From our family to yours, we thank you for taking this journey with us; we have so much to be thankful for.

Wishing you and yours health and happiness for the New Year!

 Sincerely,

The Lack & Davies Families
