Sam's Day 2006 A Success!

Sam’s Day 2006 took place on Saturday June 10th at Brant Hills Community Centre from 1-4 pm. It was a wonderful afternoon of family fun! Thanks to generosity of our many supporters, contributors, and donors that took part in the success of Sam’s Day 2006, we surpassed our $25,000 fundraising goal and successfully raised a total of $25,750 for The James Fund for Neuroblastoma Research at SickKids.

The cheque presentation was made on July 17th, 2006 at SickKids Hospital in Toronto. Andrea Lack & Jill Davies, Sam's Day organizers, were accompanied by "Sam The Man" himself, big brother Ben, and a group of their neighbourhood pals. The financial gift was accepted by Diana & Syd Birrell of The James Fund, and Seanna Dempsey of the SickKids Foundation.
